Iligan City launched the 1st Christmas Candy Wonderland last December 15, 2010 at Pryce Business Park located at Brgy. Tubod.

Despite the rains that nearly moved the opening ceremonies, thousands of people from all walks of life gathered at the venue to witness this joyous occasion.

A huge Santa Claus gave out candies to everyone's delight most specially the children who rushed to grab a handful!

Mayor Lawrence Ll. Cruz hands a bouquet of flowers to the organizing chairperson of the 1st Christmas Candy Wonderland, Honorable Councilor Marlene L. Young.

The display of booths and sharing of candies and other stuff was in cooperation with the different offices both national and local government agencies, public and private schools, different barangays in Iligan, and the IHARRA.  

Santas and elves were present all around.  Majority of the exhibits depicted the theme "candy wonderland" so decorations of candies can be found on every booth.
